You planned a vacation together with your friend. Unfortunately you have to cancel. Write an email: Why can you not go? Suggest a new date. Write about 40 words.
You are going on vacation. Write a message to your neighbor: When will you be away? What should they do (e.g., water flowers, get mail)? Write about 40 words.
Read the task carefully. Answer every point in the task description.
Use polite expressions: "Could you...", "I would like...", "I am sorry..."
Always explain why: "I cannot come because..."
Both parts should have about 40 words. Count them!
The test consists of two parts. In both parts you write a short message of about 40 words. The exam time is 30 minutes.
In A2, messages are longer (40 instead of 30 words) and topics are more complex. You must communicate more information and address multiple points.
Typical topics: planning/canceling vacation, asking neighbors for help, giving recommendations, organizing group activities, asking for help.
You need at least 60% of the total points. Each part (Part 1 and Part 2) can bring a maximum of 20 points.
