You want to attend a German course. Fill out the registration form.
You want to reserve a room in a hotel. Fill out the form.
Leave no field empty. If you don't know something, write a dash (-).
Start with a greeting (Dear..., Hello...) and end with a closing.
Write short, simple sentences. Complex structures are not needed at A1.
Part 2 should have about 30 words. Not much more, not much less.
The writing test consists of two parts: Part 1 is filling out a form, Part 2 is a short message (approx. 30 words). The exam time is 20 minutes.
Scoring is based on four criteria: Task fulfillment, Coherence, Vocabulary, and Structures. Each part is scored with points, you need 60% total to pass.
Typical topics include: sick note, invitation, appointment change, apology, short information to friends or acquaintances.
